- Hi there,
-
- I have a problem connecting an
-
- A1000
- 512K Chip + 2 MB Golem Box
- 2 FDD 880K
-
- ,running Kickstart/Workbench 1.3,
-
- to a Seagate ST296N (84MB,28ms)
- via a SCSI Interface designed for an A500 :
-
- Supra Drive SCSI Interface
-
- ---
-
- Someone told me it should work
- if I connect it to the expansion bus upside down.
-
- I already tried *any* combination possible to physically
- plug interface and expansion bus together - none worked.
-
- At least, in the suggested position, the screen doesn't
- stay black 8-), and the systems comes up with WB1.3 -
- but it can't find the drive, though it is properly
- terminated and the SCSI-ID is properly set to 1.
-
- ---
-
- What's wrong ? Any advice will be welcome - I try to set up that
- system for my neffews, aged 7 and 9 ... they are already nagging
- at me ;-)
-
- If there is no way to do it, are there other ways to have
- a hard drive on an A1000 ?
-
- Thanks in advance
-
- Claus
